Work Procedure for Yard Clean Up

Scope

The scope of this process begins after you have started your day and have arrived on the job site with all the required tools and materials. This procedure also assumes that the customer has been notified of the visit before arriving.

Responsibilities

Custodia Helpers are responsible for following the seasonal yard cleanup checklists for all yard cleanup projects. All steps are to be covered before, during, and after each service.

☝🏾 All phone or website estimates for seasonal yard cleanups are to be confirmed by the helper and the customer before executing the work.

If a home does not require all steps, or if there are additional steps in the notes not covered in the list below, default to the notes on the Job itself. Use this as a reference to ensure you’re getting everything the customer might expect.

Job execution procedure

  1. First, arrive at the job site and use your timer to ‘clock in’
  2. Say hello to the customer and confirm the estimate of work and price for the seasonal cleanup.
  3. While working, perform the mandatory perimeter safety check
  4. When completing the work, check with the customer to ensure that the work is done to their liking
    1. Never assume it is just because you think it is – always asks the customer if it’s done to their liking
    2. Go over the perimeter check results and inform them of any issues you see
  5. Ask the customer if there is anything else they need on a future visit
  6. Take pictures of the work and post any notes to the customer’s account
  7. Put away your tools, say goodbye, and head to your next customer job site.
